In Search of the Manos Sequel

A little over a year ago, I cobbled together a mockumentary called Manhunt: The Search for Castmates which poked fun at a documentary called Hotel Torgo. The mockumentary's intention was to bust the myth that all the cast members of Manos: The Hands of Fate had died. One of my key pieces of evidence that was supposed to ultimately act as proof positive was the upcoming sequel to The Hands of Fate called, Manos: The Search for Valley Lodge. If you watch my mockumentary, you'll hear Jackey Raye Neyman-Jones mention the sequel.

It seems now that I cannot count on the sequel to vindicate my mockumentary because it appears that Manos: The Search for Valley Lodge will not be released, according to Jackey Raye, who played little Debbie in the original Manos movie.

In an interview with the Badasses, Boobs & Body Counts podcast, she states that the sequel will never happen. She doesn't go into great detail about the reason(s) but she does shed more light on the situation on her blog, Debbie's Manos.



The guy dressed as Torgo in this video is Rupert Talbot Munch, who was/is not only slated to play the character in the sequel but was/is its director as well.
