Warning: graphic language and cartoon violence

More than 2500 company logos and mascots were used in the making of this 16 minute, animated film that won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2009.
The film focuses on Ronald McDonald as a villain on the loose in the city of Los Angeles while being pursued by two cops who appear to be Michelin Men.
The film really doesn't have a plot and has minimal dialogue, relying mostly on action and some impressive animation. I don't know how the makers got legal clearance to use many of the famous mascots in the film, especially since many of them are not portrayed in a positive light. You might be shocked to see some beloved characters using obscene language and behaving badly.
In a sense, this film reminds me a lot of Pulp Fiction, regarding the back-and-forth action scenes, violence and dialogue. Consider the conversation between the two Michelin Man cops, sitting in their cruiser. While waiting for action to pick up, they are debating the morality of keeping animals in zoos. This scene is reminiscent of the one in Pulp Fiction where John Travolta's and Samuel L Jacksons' characters are discussing what a Quarter Pounder is called in France.
At the very least, Logorama is an enjoyable short simply for the creative ways the animators incorporate the famous logos into the action and background.
